How do I convert a CSV file to JSON?

Why do some numbers stay as text?
Values with leading zeros (such as 007 or a phone number) and numbers longer than 15 digits are kept as text on purpose, because converting them would change or corrupt them. You can also switch type conversion off completely.
My file uses semicolons. Will it work?
Yes. The delimiter is detected automatically from the first lines, and you can also choose comma, semicolon, tab or pipe yourself.
How do I open the CSV in Excel with Arabic text?
When converting JSON to CSV, tick the option to add a BOM. It tells Excel the file is UTF-8, so Arabic letters display correctly instead of garbled characters.
What happens to nested JSON when converting to CSV?
