About Merge PDF
Merge PDF files into one document by adding them, putting them in the order you want with the arrows, and pressing the button. Pages are copied as they are, in sequence, so the layout, text and images of each file stay the same. The result is a single file named merged.pdf. No page is skipped or reordered unless you move a file.
Check the order before you process, because it decides the page sequence of the final file. Each file must be a valid, unlocked PDF; a password-protected one has to be unlocked first. Files are uploaded to our server and deleted automatically after 30 minutes, with no watermark and no account required. You can then compress the result if it is large.

Frequently asked questions
How do I merge PDF files into one?
Add two or more PDFs, move them into the order you want using the arrows, then press the process button and download merged.pdf. It is free and needs no account or software installation.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
Guests can merge up to 5 files per job, with 10 MB per file and 20 MB in total. Free members can merge up to 20 files at up to 50 MB each. At least two files are needed.
Can I change the order of the files before merging?
Yes. Use the arrows next to each file to move it up or down. Files are joined in exactly the order shown in the list, so check it before you start.
Does merging change or reduce the quality of my pages?
No. Pages are combined as they are, without re-rendering or compressing them. The merged file is roughly the sum of the originals, so use Compress PDF afterwards if it is too large.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. Unlock it first with the Unlock PDF tool by entering its password, then merge the unlocked copy with your other files. Then add the unlocked file to the merge list.
Are my files kept on your server?
Files are uploaded for processing and deleted automatically after 30 minutes. The merged result is not watermarked. Avoid uploading documents you are not permitted to share with a third-party service.
