About QR Code Generator
This QR code generator creates codes for a link, plain text, contact card (vCard), Wi-Fi network, email, phone number, SMS, WhatsApp chat, map location or calendar event. You can style them with preset looks, dot and corner shapes, solid or gradient colors, a transparent background, your own logo and a label frame such as Scan me.
Static codes are built entirely in your browser: the content is stored inside the image, nothing is uploaded, and they never expire. Dynamic codes need a free account; they point to a short link on i40x, so you can change the destination later and see scan statistics. For reliable scanning, keep strong contrast and a small logo.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
A static code stores your content inside the image, so it works forever but cannot be edited. A dynamic code points to a short i40x link, so you can change the destination, pause it and view scan statistics. Dynamic codes need a free account.
Is this QR code generator free, and is there a watermark?
Yes, it is free, adds no watermark and needs no sign-up for static codes. Dynamic codes are also free but require a free account, and each account can keep a limited number of them.
Can I add my logo to a QR code?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG image up to 4 MB and it is placed in the center. Use the size slider and keep the logo small; the tool raises error correction when a logo is present and warns if it is too large.
What sizes can I download, and in which formats?
Download PNG at 512, 1024, 2048 or 4096 pixels (the largest is meant for print) or download an SVG, which stays sharp at any size. Use SVG or the largest PNG for posters and printed packaging.
What do you track on dynamic QR codes?
Dynamic codes record the number of scans, the day, country, device type and operating system, with charts for 7 to 365 days and a CSV export. i40x does not store the IP address or personal details of people who scan.
Why will my QR code not scan?
The usual causes are low contrast, a light code on a dark background, a logo that is too big, or too much content. Use a dark code on a light background, shorten the text or link, and test with a phone before printing.
Are my QR code contents uploaded?
For static codes, no. They are generated in your browser and the logo stays on your device. Only a dynamic code that you choose to save is stored on our server, along with its design and logo.
