About PDF to Word
This free PDF to Word converter turns a PDF into a DOCX file you can edit in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice. The default mode, Editable text, rebuilds the document as real paragraphs: headings are detected from the font size, bullet lists stay lists, and columns of figures become Word tables. Arabic paragraphs are set right to left.
If your PDF is a scan with no selectable text, the tool recognizes the text first with OCR in English, Arabic or both, then builds the Word file. If you need the pages to keep their exact positions and images, choose Keep layout, which is faithful to the page but places each piece of text in its own text box. Files are processed on our server, deleted automatically after 30 minutes, and never carry a watermark.

Frequently asked questions
Will the Word file look exactly like my PDF?
Editable text rebuilds paragraphs, headings, bullet lists and simple tables so you can edit freely, but images and exact page positions are not reproduced. Keep layout keeps text where it was and keeps images, but every fragment sits in its own text box, so it is harder to edit.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Yes, in Editable text mode. A PDF without selectable text is read with OCR first, in English and Arabic. Quality depends on the scan, so proofread names and numbers.
Does it support Arabic?
Yes. Arabic paragraphs are set right to left. A line that mixes Arabic and English can come out in a slightly different order, so give those a quick check.
Why are my tables or images missing?
Editable text turns tables that are laid out in aligned columns into Word tables, but complex tables may become plain text, and images are left out. Try Keep layout if you need the images.
Is my file safe, and what are the limits?
Files are processed privately on our server and deleted automatically after 30 minutes. Guests can convert files up to 10 MB, and a free account raises that to 50 MB.
Is it really free, with no watermark?
Yes. There is no watermark and you do not need an account.
