About Case Converter
This case converter changes the capitalisation of any text in one click. Choose from UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE or aLtErNaTiNg case, then copy the result. It is useful for headlines, spreadsheet columns, variable names and cleaning text that was typed in capitals. Results appear in a separate box, so your original text is never overwritten.
The programming styles (camel, Pascal, snake, kebab and constant) split your text into words first, so punctuation is removed and an existing camelCase name is split correctly. Title Case capitalises every word, including small ones like of and the, so check headlines by hand. Arabic has no upper or lower case, so Arabic letters stay unchanged. Everything runs in your browser.

Frequently asked questions
How do I change text to uppercase or lowercase online?
Paste your text, then click UPPERCASE or lowercase. The converted text appears in the result box below, ready to copy. Your original text stays in the input box so you can try other cases.
What is the difference between camelCase and PascalCase?
camelCase starts with a lowercase letter and capitalises each following word, like myVariableName. PascalCase capitalises every word including the first, like MyVariableName. Both remove spaces and punctuation.
Does Title Case skip small words like of and the?
No. This tool capitalises the first letter of every word, so a small word such as of will also be capitalised. If your style guide leaves small words lowercase, adjust them manually afterwards.
Does the case converter work with Arabic?
Arabic script has no uppercase or lowercase, so Arabic letters are not changed. Any Latin words mixed into the same text are converted normally. The programming cases keep Arabic letters but join words with separators.
What is the difference between Sentence case and Title Case?
Sentence case lowercases everything and capitalises only the first letter of each sentence, after a full stop, exclamation or question mark. Title Case capitalises the first letter of every word.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser, so nothing you paste is uploaded. There is no sign-up and no limit on the amount of text.
