About Add Watermark to Image
This tool lets you add a watermark to an image by stamping your name, brand or copyright line on it. Type the text, then set the size as a percentage of the image, the opacity from 5 to 100 percent, the color, and an optional soft shadow that keeps light text readable. Place it in a corner, in the center, or repeat it diagonally across the whole picture.
The same watermark is applied to up to 40 images in one go, which is handy for a photo set. The text size scales with each image, so large and small photos look consistent. Save as JPG, PNG or WebP, or keep the original format. Everything runs in your browser, and your photos are never uploaded. This tool adds text only, not logo images.

Frequently asked questions
How do I add a watermark to a photo?
Drop the photo, type your watermark text, choose position, size, opacity and color, then click Add watermark. Download the result, or a ZIP if you processed several images.
Can I add a logo image as a watermark?
No. This tool adds a text watermark only. You can type a brand name or a copyright line, and the symbol is allowed in the text. A logo image option is not available.
Which watermark position protects best?
Repeating the text diagonally across the image is the hardest to crop out. A corner mark is less intrusive but can be cropped away. The center position sits in between.
Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes. Add up to 40 images and the same text and settings are applied to each, with the text size scaling to each image. Download them separately or all together as a ZIP file.
Will the watermark reduce my image quality?
The watermark is drawn onto a copy of the image, and the original file is untouched. Saving as JPG or WebP applies compression, which you control with the quality slider, 92 by default.
Are my photos uploaded to your server?
No. The watermark is drawn in your browser on your own device. Your images are not sent to i40x, so unpublished photos stay private.
