About Remove pages
Remove pages from a PDF by typing the numbers of the pages you do not want, such as 2,4-6 or 8-z for page 8 to the end. The tool keeps every other page in its original order and gives you a new file named after yours with -edited added. Your original upload is not changed.
At least one page must remain, so you cannot delete every page. Page numbers are counted from the first page of the file, not by the numbers printed on the pages, which can differ in books with a cover or front matter. Files are processed on our server and deleted automatically after 30 minutes, without a watermark.

Frequently asked questions
How do I delete pages from a PDF?
Upload the file, enter the pages to remove, for example 2,4-6, and process it. The new PDF contains all remaining pages in their original order and you can download it directly.
Can I delete the last page without knowing the page count?
Yes. Use z for the last page, so z removes only the last page and 3-z removes everything from page 3 onward. At least one page must remain.
Are page numbers based on the printed numbers?
No. They are counted from the first page of the PDF file, starting at 1. If a book has a cover or roman-numbered pages, the printed number can differ from the file position.
Can I remove every page?
No. The tool needs at least one page to remain and shows an error if your selection covers the whole document. The tool then shows an error.
Is the original file affected?
No. You get a new PDF and the file you uploaded is left as it was. Remaining pages are copied unchanged, so text and image quality stay the same.
Are my files kept, and what are the limits?
Uploads are deleted automatically after 30 minutes. Guests can use files up to 10 MB and 15 jobs a day; free members get 50 MB and 150 jobs. No account is required for guests.
