About Word to PDF

Word to PDF turns a Word document into a PDF you can send, print or archive without worrying about the recipient's fonts or software. It accepts .doc, .docx, .odt, .rtf and .txt files, keeps the page layout, images and tables, and supports Arabic and other right-to-left text. You upload one file, wait a few seconds and download the PDF.

Conversion is done with LibreOffice on our server, so a document with complex layouts, text boxes or unusual fonts can look slightly different from how Microsoft Office shows it. Always check the result before sending it. Password-protected files cannot be converted, so remove the password first. Files are deleted automatically after 30 minutes, and the PDF has no watermark.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert a Word document to PDF?

Select your .doc, .docx, .odt, .rtf or .txt file, press the convert button, and download the PDF when it is ready. You do not need an account, and the converted file has no watermark.

Will the PDF look exactly like my Word file?

Usually it is very close, but conversion uses LibreOffice, not Microsoft Office. Complex layouts, text boxes or unusual fonts can differ slightly. Open the PDF and check page breaks, fonts and images before you send it.

Does it support Arabic text?

Yes. Arabic and other right-to-left text is supported. If a special Arabic font is not available on our server, a similar font may be used instead, so check the result and consider common fonts for best fidelity.

Can I convert a password-protected Word file?

No. Password-protected files cannot be converted and you will see an error message. Open the file in Word, remove the password, save a copy, and upload that copy instead.

What are the file size and daily limits?

Guests can upload files up to 10 MB each and run 15 jobs per day. A free account raises this to 50 MB per file and 150 jobs per day. There is no watermark and no sign-up is needed to use the tool.

Is it safe to upload my file, and how long is it kept?

The file is uploaded to our server, processed, and deleted automatically after 30 minutes. The server has no internet access. The result has no watermark and you do not need an account. Avoid uploading anything you are not allowed to share.
